Who we are
The Förderkreis Osnabrücker Friedensgespräche, a registered nonprofit association, was established in 2001. As per the provisions of our articles of association, we have made it our mission to provide moral and financial support to the Osnabrück Peace Forum, organized jointly by the city and the University of Osnabrück. By doing so, our 220+ members – residents of the city and the region – set an example of peace and make an important contribution to the financial and moral support of the Osnabrück Peace Forum.
The fundraising association understands how important it is to establish and maintain closer ties to Peace Forum guests, and for that reason, we warmly invite you to become a member yourself.
As a member, you…
- Provide financial and moral support to the Osnabrück Peace Forum,
- Are personally invited to attend Peace Forum events,
- Receive a copy of the “Osnabrücker Jahrbuch Frieden und Wissenschaft” each year,
- Have the opportunity to take part in special events and field trips organized occasionally by the association,
- May attend the annual meeting of members, followed by an event on a topic of contemporary concern that is open to the public.
Membership fee:
The annual membership fee is €15. Any voluntary contributions in excess of that are gratefully received.
The fundraising association welcomes new members by sending them the latest edition of the Peace Forum Yearbook and the association’s Articles of Association together with confirmation of membership. Contributions and donations to the Förderkreis Osnabrücker Friedensgespräche e.V. are tax-deductible.
