Corona – for some this means home office, for others short-time work and for some the loss of their job! Businesses, administrations, colleges and universities have been able to use and develop the digitalisation skills they have built up over the years, while other sectors have come to a complete standstill, especially in the catering and hotel industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does the Corona pandemic act like a burning glass that makes social injustices visible, intensifies and deepens them? Prof. Dr. Christoph Butterwegge, poverty researcher at the University of Cologne, Prof. Dr. Hajo Holst, economic, organisational and labour sociologist at the University of Osnabr\u00fcck, the Director of the Economic and Social Science Institute, D\u00fcsseldorf, Prof. Dr. Bettina Kohlrausch and the Rev. Peter Kossen spoke about this under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Martina Blasberg-Kuhnke, Chair of the Scientific Council of the Osnabr\u00fcck Peace Forum and Vice President of the University of Osnabr\u00fcck. The Minister of the Interior of Lower Saxony, Boris Pistorius, was unfortunately unable to attend the discussion due to scheduling reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
