The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our time, but is increasingly receding into the background – also politically. Although climate protection continues to be named as an important goal, there is a lack of willingness to take political and personal action. In addition, international efforts are being jeopardized by developments such as the withdrawal of the USA from the Paris Climate Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The peace talk will therefore focus on the scientific basis of climate change and its impact on resource consumption. The central questions are: How can a fair use of resources succeed? Can climate protection measures increase inequality? Do emerging countries have a right to fossil fuels? And what conflicting goals exist in politics and society and how do they influence our actions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
