Right-wing extremism and right-wing populism are topics that cause a stir, especially after horrific murders and politically motivated acts of violence. However, the moods and attitudes behind them often remain undefined. How much right-wing extremism is there? Why it rages worldwide and how it affects the center of society are questions that have not found a clear answer. How it develops into violence is another issue, as is the question of what can be done to combat it. Surveillance and criminal prosecution, the control of social media and the verification of constitutional compliance are approaches that have emerged alongside the promotion of democracy and education, but are also criticized as measures of spying and paternalism. How can democracy be protected without jeopardizing it? Where are the limits of freedom of opinion? These and other topics were discussed during the peace talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
